The hospitality of Alma

About Alma

It doesn’t matter which of the Alma establishments you choose, you will always find head chef Wouter van Laarhoven’s signature style on your plate. The people responsible for ensuring this are our grey brigade: the kitchen staff and the front-of-house staff at Alma make up a single team. Whatever is thought-up in the kitchen will be matched by its presentation at your table.

Fine dining

Alma’s top floor is reserved for our fine-dining restaurant, where you will be literally on another level as you sample this unique dining experience. An evening here will make every gourmet’s heart beat a little faster. Whether you choose to have five or seven courses or one of our specials, you will always be presented with absolutely top-quality food in a cosy, casual atmosphere where nothing is left to chance. On summer evenings, we also lay the tables on the balcony overlooking the majestic Lind.

Please make a reservation for our fine dining. Restaurant Alma opens for dinner at five o’clock on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. On Saturday and Sunday from one o’clock until nine in the evening. Our fine dining establishment is closed on Monday and Tuesday. Please note: We serve lunch and dinner at our bodega on Tuesday.

Bodega

Head chef Wouter wears his heart, not on his sleeve, but on every plate that leaves the kitchen. In our bodega, he works in an accessible, casual style. This part of Alma has 26 covers, with high and low seating arrangements. Guests at our bar are right next to our open-plan kitchen and are in direct contact with our chefs. In the summer, we open a terrace on De Lind. Our menu lists authentic dishes with a modern twist.

Our bodega welcomes guests six days a week from noon onwards for lunch, dinner or just drinks. Our bodega is closed on Mondays. You may make a reservation if you like, but it’s not mandatory.

Table 21

Table 21 in Alma’s basement will open in 2020. In this stylish, intimate setting, we are creating a space that will accommodate groups of up to ten diners.
